Fabric Flowers for my Littlest Niece

Fabric Flowers for my Littlest Niece

Yesterday, I finished 2 fabric flowers as a present for my little niece in Maryland. I made two flower clippies since headbands make the back of her ears ache. I did not put any bead embellishment in the flower center since the last time, my little niece stuck a little pearl in her ear. My aunt already took the pearls from the toy tiara, but my niece still found it. We really have to be careful in putting embellishments on children’s accessories. Children may not be able to choke from the small parts, but they can sometimes be determined to stick them in their nose and ears.

For this red ribbon flower, I used the Ruffled Blossom Tutorial and a round felt base to hot glue it on an alligator clip.

For this beige fabric flower, I used the concepts in the Three Petal Ribbon Flower Tutorial. I used the same round felt patch to hot glue the flower on an alligator clip.

I hope my little diva niece would love them. These would be perfect for her fall and winter wardrobe.
