STEP 4

STEP 5

Sprinkle the sugar beads on the feather (this is actually my favorite part).  Set it aside and let the glue dry for a few minutes.

STEP 9

Put the fowl feather to the other side.

DESIGN TIP : When arranging feathers and other components, it is best to arrange them on different levels (ex. one feather is higher than the other) to make it more interesting and to make each design component visible.

STEP 10

Wrap the feathers together with the floral tape to secure.

STEP 11

Bend each of the millinery berries. Notice that one berry is higher than the other.  Arranging them on different levels make them look more natural.

STEP 12

Bend at least 1 cm / half an inch from the tip of the florist's wire to create a loop.

STEP 13

Place the bent millinery berries into the loop, and then wrap it with the floral tape.  Creating a loop with the florist's wire makes it easier for you to wrap the berries.

STEP 21

Insert the beaded stem into the hole that was punched by the wooden awl.  Hot glue the base of the bead so it will secure into the fabric flower.
