Upcoming Fabric Flower No Hot Glue Fascinator Tutorial

Upcoming Fabric Flower No Hot Glue Fascinator Tutorial

Today I continued and finished taking pictures of the steps on the third part of my tutorial.  I’m pretty happy on how it went.  I finally found something quite diva worthy bow design and I’m still thinking of the perfect way to embellish it.  Tomorrow I’ll be doing the finishing touches like how to line different kinds of clips and other stuff that needs to be covered.  Throughout the process of making this tutorial, I just had the outmost respect and admiration to all the bow makers. .  It truly is an art to make the perfect loop of each bow and because of that, I’ll never look at bows the same way again.

After I finished taking pictures of the third part of my bow tutorial, I made a custom order by my mum’s best friend. She asked me to make a fascinator with mauve as the main color. She is going to use it in their friend’s wedding.  The theme of  the wedding is the roaring 20s.  I’m also going to make a fascinator for my mum and it will be in aqua color.

While planning the design, I came up with the idea to make a fabric flower fascinator tutorial.  This is going to be a different tutorial since I completely sewn the fascinator from the fabric flower down to the feathers and ribbon.   I’m going to remove the comb though next week since she requested it to be a clip.  That is okay to me since I did not use glue to attach the comb into the design.

Here are the photos of my lastest creation:

I love embellishing this fabric flower with a lot of beads.

The marabou feather gives it a little bit of a whimsical touch.

I hope my aunt would love this comb!

This is how the back part of my fascinator looks like.

Love love love,

Eliza
